*This version of our logo was designed October 10, 1989, by Carolyn Lesser. In the lower left quadrant, the fabrics / colors are dark and heavy—the despair of addiction—with the addicted's hand reaching up for help. The lower right quadrant's fabrics and colors are lighter. The red-orange flame of the Holy Spirit surrounds the gold flower of hope. The addicted's awareness of his need for help—hope for health—the support group's hand reaching out to help. The upper right quadrant's fabrics are light and joyous, as the vines with green leaves of life show the growth of health and help between the support group and the addict. God's hand reaches down with everlasting love and acceptance. The upper left quadrant is a golden flower with the red-orange flame of the Holy Spirit inside, surrounded by vines with green leaves of life and health. The addicted now has the seed of hope to give others help—the hand of family / parish support sustains him. A golden circle / vine runs through every quadrant with golden leaves signifying God's presence with us at all times.
