Celebrating the legacy of the Rev. Samuel Shoemaker and the 75th Anniversary of Alcoholics Anonymous, this seminar is designed to help people understand the alcoholic's spiritual journey of healing. Co-founder of AA, Bill W., credited Shoemaker with giving the spiritual insights that helped develop the Twelve Step program used by Alcoholics Anonymous and adapted for use in almost every other recovery program for addictions. The workshops will focus on helping clergy and others better understand the nature of addiction and how to minister more effectively to the addicted and their families. Speakers and Workshop leaders include:
